In her role of controller, Janice is responsible for overseeing Vista’s yearly budget while planning and managing all accounting functions as well as monitoring the company’s overall financial health. She also oversees all legal and human resources aspects, ensuring the best health and safety as well as ethical practices are adopted by Vista. Janice leads with a strong belief in the importance of collaboration, supporting employees, and motivating others to exceed expectations. Janice’s expertise has made her a mentor figure for many junior staff as her entrepreneurial spirit and drive have inspired many.
Prior to joining the accounting team, Janice gained her undergraduate degree at Wilfrid Laurier University. She has also pursued a Postgraduate degree at the University of Toronto specializing in Human Resources and her MBA at York University.
