At our Mississauga head office, we use advanced Live Scan fingerprinting technology to capture inkless digital fingerprints. Your prints are transmitted directly and securely to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for processing.

Important Information
  • We do not offer traditional ink and roll fingerprinting at this time
  • One person per appointment – guests are not permitted unless required for translation or assistance 
  • Walk-Ins are welcome, but appointments are recommended for faster service 
  • We do not offer Vulnerable Sector Checks (VSC)

 

What to Bring

Two valid government-issued IDs are required — one must include a photo (e.g., driver’s license, passport, PR card, etc.).

Bring any letter, form, or instructions that explain why you need fingerprints and where to send the results.

Valid Accepted Photo IDs (Primary ID – must include a photo):
Driver’s License, Foreign Driver’s License, Canadian/Foreign Passport, PR Card, Canadian Citizenship Card, Status Card, Military ID, Student ID, Firearms License, CNIB Card

Valid Accepted Secondary IDs (if not using two photo IDs):
Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate, Marriage License, Hunting/Fishing License, Immigration Papers, Union or Employee ID, Work/Study Permit

Note: Health Cards, SIN Cards, debit/credit cards are not accepted as valid ID under RCMP regulations.

We are open Monday to Friday from 9:00AM to 4:00PM. Closed during Holidays.

Walk-ins accepted or appointments.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, debit, or cash.

If paying with cash, please bring exact change, as we do not carry additional cash on site.

Checking Your Application Status

Please wait at least 4 weeks after your fingerprinting appointment before contacting the RCMP to check the status of your application.
